Frequent updates
Unfortunately this site isn't updated as often as I would like. So here I provide you with a list of resource I use to publish and share content, and that are updated a great deal more frequently. Some of them are in Dutch though...
New Since going through each of these is a bit messy, I've made a little application that integrates my shared contents from these social media at Redge's Shared Items.
I must admit that though I was aware of Twitter for a long time before I started using it. I always assumed Twitter involved neurotically sharing every little thing that happened. But by using it to publish interesting thoughts, links and generally things worth noting, both on-line and off-line, I discovered it to be a very useful medium, though one I don't use much nowadays.

Google Reader
Since I discovered Google Reader, I rarely surf randomly anymore: in stead I take out subscriptions to sites I find interesting and let their content come to me. I make use of "feeds", a long exisiting web technology: the site specifies an address where applications like Google Reader can check to find out what has changed on the site since last it checked. When the site publishes new content, it is neatly presented to me.
One of the most interesting features that sets Google Reader apart from other feed readers, is the ability to easily share and republish content that I find interesting. Any of my contacts also using Google Reader, or any person by finding the right feed, can have access to content that I found in Google Reader and wanted to share with the world. You don't need special software to see this content though: Google Reader lets me publish a website where my shared content is shown. So take a look, and try using feeds yourself. You can start by subscribing to this website, using the orange button on the right.

Flickr
Since recently I got a new mobile phone (HTC Hero) with a good digital camera, I got my dusty Flickr account out of an old nook and started posting to it. Just photos of things I notice in my daily wanderings.

Blogs
I don't actually blog that often, or at least I didn't use to. Since years ago, those few thoughts that I did publish, which were on various subjects but often IT or philosophy, were gathered in my blog "Redge's Trek through the Web" - which is mostly in English but with some Dutch entries.

StumbleUpon
StumbleUpon is a service where I specify my interested, and are then taken on a tour of sites that people with similar interests liked. It's a great way to waste some time if you have it.
If I StumbleUpon a site I really like, I usually share it through Google Reader or Twitter. But if you want to see all sites I've rated thumbs up, you can take a look at my profile page.
